In 2016, Madeline Tynan launched the Michael Tynan Memorial Challenge and raised over $520,000 for the St George and Sutherland Medical Research Foundation.
The Michael Tynan Memorial Challenge will take place again this year on November 11 2017, with the aim of raising a further $500,000 for medical research.
This year the Michael Tynan Memorial Challenge will be a one day event, endeavouring to journey from Wollongong to Sydney to help raise much needed funds for the St George and Sutherland Medical Research Foundation. The event will conclude with a celebratory charity dinner event.
Early Bird Entry $220 Per Person
Standard Entry $250 Per Person
Entry fee will include;
1 x Dinner ticket (valued at $100 per person)
1 x Shirt
1 x Hat
Breakfast and lunch will also be provided.
Each participant is to raise a minimum of $500.
If a participant raises over $1,000, they will receive an additional dinner ticket (valued at $100).
There will be prizes for those who raise the most funds.
There will be a number of training days conducted before the event that will start at Bundeena at 8am and journey through the Royal National Park, the walk will conclude at noon with lunch provided. Further details will be advised closer to the dates. The dates are as follows -

100% of the proceeds from this will be donated to the St George and Sutherland Medical Research Foundation.

All day parking is available on various streets surrounding the Tynan Motors Miranda site including Culburra Rd, Wingello Rd & Kumbardang Ave. No parking is available onsite.
